While fleeing Temple Knights after getting caught selling fake love charms, Keith got lost in the Elven Forest. There, he stumbled upon a group of elves under attack by a basilisk. Hoping for a meal as a reward, he stepped in—using one of his bizarre inventions to drive the creature off.
Grateful, the father of one of the rescued elves—an influential figure in the Elven Kingdom—rewarded him with food and took a liking to him. Thanks to his recommendation, Keith was appointed Court Magician.
His first assignment: teach Princess Naia, an elven royal completely incapable of using magic.
